Use

The EPS 200 is used to test holder assemblies and
nozzle fittings for unit injectors (referred to here as
DHK/UI) and common rail injectors for passenger
cars and commercial vehicles (referred to here as
CRI/CRIN). The EPS 200 provides an automatic test
sequence to determine whether the tested component
can continue to be used.
!
Opening pressure 2 measurements showing deviations
on DHK/UI are not grounds for complaints under the
warranty if the opening pressure 1 measurements at the
same time are OK. CRI/CRIN measurements on EPS 200
are not covered by warranty.
!
Non leak-off DHK cannot be checked with the
EPS 200. The distinguishing feature of a non leak-off
DHK is the absence of a fuel return connection.
i
CRIs from other manufacturers, Bosch CRINs or UI
nozzle fittings can only be tested with additional
optional accessories. The preparations for testing
UI nozzle fittings are described in the ESI[tronic]
testing and repair instructions (CD-K).
