Transportation and installation

Warning – Risk of tipping
The EPS 200's center of gravity is not in the
middle of the unit. There is a risk of tipping
when lifting the EPS 200 out of the trans-
port crate.
Make sure the steel cross-beam is
properly engaged before lifting out the
EPS 200.
1. Open the cover on the transport crate.
2. Remove the accessories and packaging material from
the transport crate.
3. Unscrew and take out the wooden block fitted in the
transport crate.

4. Lift the EPS 200 with the transport frame and a
crane out of the wooden crate and position it in the
oil collector on the workbench to be used.
 The hole in the steel cross-beam for engaging the
crane must be on the guard end (refer to Fig. 14).

i
There must be sufficient space on the work bench (to
the left of the EPS 200) to place a tank. During the
DHK/UI flushing process, the flushing drain (Fig. 3,
Pos. 5) is turned downwards so that the impure diesel/
oil mixture does not get into the EPS 200's test oil tank.
5. Screw out the adjustable feet of the EPS 200 until the
distance between the bottom of the oil collector and the
underside of the unit is between 6 and 6.5 centimeters.
6. Align the EPS 200 horizontally using the adjustable
feet and a spirit level.
i
The EPS 200 must be horizontally aligned to ensure
that the test oil that flows into the settling tank
during the flushing process can flow out through the
flushing drain.
7. Remove the transport frame with steel cross-beam.
