When the Machine Cannot Be Operated

• If a message is displayed on the screen, check the message.

Condition
The screen of the control
panel is not lit.
Nothing is displayed
when you touch the
screen.
The power of the
machine does not come
on.
Only the copy icon is
displayed when the
machine is turned on.
Cause
The machine is in the sleep
mode.
The power of the machine is
turned off.
The power cable is
unplugged from the wall
outlet.
The machine is connected to
an extension cord.
There may be a problem
with the wall outlet.
The functions other than the
copy function are starting
up.
