14 Built-in battery and charging
14.1 Battery
The Li-Ion-Mn battery of the ZRP 6030+ has a very high capacity. The state of
charge is monitored continuously. When the voltage becomes too low the battery
status symbol changes to
and the battery has to be charged.
In order to prevent damage to the battery, the
instrument switches off automatically before
the battery is completely drained. The ZRP
6030+ announces this by displaying the
symbol of an empty battery
message. In order to save power you can set
a shorter "Auto off time". Please refer to
chapter 13.6.4 "Power" on page 39 for
details.
