VL-type Slide Valves must only be
closed with bulk material column
in motion.
Valves are dust-tight.
The valve must not be put into
service before the machine or
plant it has been fitted to has been
declared in conformity with the
regulations of the directive
14/06/1982 (89/392/ECC).
It is the plant designer's / plant
fitter's responsibility to design and
install all necessary protection in
order to avoid that breaking and/or
yielding of the quipment or of parts
of it might damage people and/or
parts of the plant (e.g. adequate
protection against falling down of
the motor etc.).
For dangerous materials, i.e. those
that must not get in contact with the
human body or be inhaled, for flam-
mable, explosive and bacteriologi-
cally dangerous materials the plant
manufacturer or fitter must provide
for the required safety devices and
measures.

BEMERKUNGEN ZU SCHIEBERN
FÜR NAHRUNGSMITTEL:
In regelmäßigen Abständen mit
Wasser abwaschen.
Schieberblech und Dichtung sind
besonders sorgfältig zu reinigen.
Reinigungsmittel nur in Abspra-che
mit dem Hersteller verwen-den.
Bei säurehaltigen sowie bei beson-
ders heißen oder kal ten Medien vor
dem Einsatz Rücksprache mit dem
Her steller halten.
Flachschieber vom Typ VL dürfen
nur bei in Bewegung befindlicher
Materialsäule geschlossen werden.
Schieber sind staubdicht.
Der Schieber darf nicht in Betrieb
genommen werden, bevor die
Anlage oder Maschine, in die er ein-
gebaut wurde mit den Vorschriften
der Bestimmungen vom 14.06.1982
(89/392/ECC) als konform erklärt
wurden.
Es liegt in der Verantwortung des
Anlagenplaners bzw. –aufstellers,
alle notwendigen Schutzvorrichtun-
gen vorzusehen, welche es verhin-
dern, dass durch einen Geräte- oder
Teiledefekt Personen- und/oder
Sachschäden verursacht werden
(z.B. geeigneter Schutz gegen das
Herunterfallen des Motors etc.).
Für Gefahrenprodukte, bzw. solche,
die nicht mit dem menschlichen
Körper in Kontakt geraten oder
eingeatmet werden dürfen, für leicht
entzündbare, explosive sowie bak-
teriologisch gefährliche Medien muß
der Anlagenbauer bzw. –errichter
die für die Sicherheit erforderlichen
Vorrichtungen vorsehen und Maß-
nahmen treffen.

INSTRUCTIONS POUR LES
VANNES DESTINEES AUX PRO-
DUITS ALIMENTAIRES:
Nettoyez régulièrement les vannes
avec de l'eau.
Nettoyez tout particulière ment le
disque de la vanne et le joint.
Avant d'employer d'autres produits
pour le nettoyage, consultez votre
fournisseur. Si le produit qui entre
en contact avec la vanne est acide
ou bien si sa tempéra ture est trop
élevée ou trop basse, adressez-
vous di rectement à notre service
aprés-vente.
Les vannes à guillotine de type VL
doivent être fermées seulement
avec la colonne de matériau en
mouvement.
Nos vannes sont étanches à la
poussière.
Il est interdit de mettre en fonction
la vanne avant que l'installation
dans laquelle elle doit etre installée
soit déclarée conforme aux dispo-
sitions de la directive
14/06/1982 (89/392/ECC).
Dans ce cadre il est la responsabilité
du constructeur de l'installation ou
de l'installateur de projeter et d'ins-
taller tout équipement de protection
nécessaire afin d'éviter que des
ruptures et/ou des tassements de
la machine et/ou des parties d'elle
puissent causer de dégâts à des
personnes et/ou des choses (par
ex.: des protections appropriées
contre la chute du moteur etc.).
Pour des produits dangereux,
nuisibles au contact et/ou à l'inha-
lation, inflammables, explosifs et
dangereux du point de vue bacté-
riologique et/ou viral, le construc-
teur de l'installation ou l'installateur
devront prévoir des dispositifs
appropriés au besoin.

Dla prawidłowej identyfikacji maszy-
ny, należy odnieść się do kodu, który
znajduje się na potwierdzeniu zamó-
wienia, na fakturze i na opakowaniu.
PRZECIWWSKAZANIA DO UŻY-
CIA
Przy zastosowaniu wszystkich
instrukcji bezpieczeństwa nie wy-
stępują przeciwwskazania użyt-
kowania.
UWAGI DOTYCZĄCE ZAWORÓW
I PRODUKTÓW SPOŻYWCZYCH:
Regularnie czyścić zawory wodą.
Ze szczególną starannością czyścić
tarcze i obudowę zaworu.
Przed zastosowaniem innych środ-
ków czyszczących, należy skonsul-
tować się z producentem.
Przy przetwarzaniu produktów za-
wierających kwas, lub o szczególnie
wysokiej lub zimnej temperaturze,
należy skonsultować się z produ-
centem.
Zawory suwakowe typu VL muszą
pozostać zamknięte jedynie pod-
czas poruszania się słupa materiału.
Zawory są szczelne na pył.
Zabrania się uruchamiania zawo-
rów, jeśli maszyna, lub urządzenie
w którym zostały zainstalowane,
nie zostanie uznane za spełniające
wymogi Dyrektywy 14/06/1982
(89/392/ECC).
Uwzględniając powyższe, instala-
tor musi zadbać o zainstalowanie
odpowiednich urządzeń ochrony
osobistej i grupowej w celu uniknię-
cia uszkodzeń przedmiotów i zagro-
żenia pracowników, w przypadku
awarii i wynikającego z niej rozpadu
maszyny (np. odpowiednia ochrona
przed upadkiem silnika).
Dla ochrony przed produktami
niebezpiecznymi i szkodliwymi w
kontakcie ze skórą lub przy wdycha-
niu, albo materiałami łatwopalnymi
lub wybuchowymi i bakteriologicz-
nie niebezpiecznymi, producent
urządzenia lub montażysta musi
zapewnić odpowiednie urządzenia
zabezpieczające i podjąć odpowied-
nie środki.
