STORAGE
BEFORE INSTALLATION
- Avoid damp, salty environments,
if possible.
- Place the slide valve on wooden
platforms, protected from unfa-
vourable weather conditions.
- The valves must not be stored in
the open or in areas in the pres-
ence of vapours or substances
(however weakly corrosive) not
compatible with the materials used
for constructing the slide valve.
- Avoid storage temperatures below
-20° C.
LONG MACHINE SHUTDOWNS
AFTER ASSEMBLY
- Set the slide valve in safety condi-
tion before starting up the plant.
- Before starting operation with the
slide valve, check all parts for
which prolonged disuse may have
affected the functionality.
POSSIBLE REUSE AFTER SHUT-
DOWNS
- Avoid damp, salty environments
during machine shutdowns.
Place the slide valve on wooden pal-
lets, protected from unfavourable
weather conditions.
- The valve must not be stored in the
open or in the presence of vapours
or substances (however weakly
corrosive) not compatible with the
materials used for construction of
the slide valve.
- Before start up set the slide valve
in safety condition.
- Before starting operation with the
slide valve, check all parts for
which prolonged disuse may have
affected the functionality.
- Before starting operation with the
slide valve, carry out a complete
cleaning cycle according to the
indications in the safety sheet of
the product to be handled.
- If the slide valve operates in condi-
tions and with materials different
from the previous application,
check the compatibility of this use
with the indications in the INDICA-
TION FOR USE section.

- Feuchte Räume mit salzhaltiger
Luft möglichst vermeiden.
- Den Flachschieber auf einen
Holzuntersatz legen und ihn vor
der Witterung geschützt ufstellen..
- Die Lagerung im Freien oder in Be-
reichen, wo Dämpfe oder auch nur
schwach korrosiv wirkende Sub-
stanzen vorhanden sind, die nicht
mit den Konstruktionsmaterialien
des Flachschiebers verträglich
sind ist verboten. - Eine Lagerhal-
tung bei Temperaturen unter -20°
C ist zu vermeiden.
LÄNGERER STILLSTAND DES
GERÄTS NACH DEM EINBAU
- Vor der Inbetriebnahme ist der
Flachschieber in einen sicheren
Zustand zu bringen.
- Vor der Inbetriebnahme des Flach-
schiebers sind alle Teile, deren
Funktionstüchtigkeit durch einen
längeren Stillstand in Frage ge-
stellt werden könnte, auf Unver-
sehrtheit zu prüfen.

BRAUCH NACH EINEM STILL-
STAND
- Während des Stillstands des
Geräts feuchte Räume mit salz-
haltiger Luft vermeiden.
- Den Flachschieber auf einen
Holzuntersatz legen und
ungsgeschützt lagern.
- Die Lagerung im Freien oder in Be-
reichen, wo Dämpfe oder auch nur
schwach korrosiv wirkende Sub-
stanzen vorhanden sind, die nicht
mit den Konstruktionsmaterialien
des Flachschiebers verträglich
sind ist verboten.
- Vor der Inbetriebnahme ist der
Flachschieber in einen sicheren
Zustand zu bringen.
- Vor der Inbetriebnahme des Flach-
schiebers sind die Teile, deren
Funktionstüchtigkeit durch einen
längeren Stillstand in Frage ge-
stellt ist, auf Unversehrtheit prüfen.
- Vor der Aufnahme des Betriebs des
Flachschiebers eine kom-plette
Reinigung durchführen, wobei zu
beachten ist, was auf dem Sicher-
heitsdatenblatt des Staubes steht.
- Wenn der Flachschieber unter
Bedingungen und mit Medien
betrieben wird, die von der letzten
Anwendung abweichen, die Kom-
patibilität mit dem vergleichen,
was im Abschnitt GEBRAUCHS-
ANWEISUNG steht.
STOCKAGE

- Eviter le plus possible les environ-
nements humides et saumâtres.
- Placer la vanne à guillotine sur une
plate-forme en bois et à l'abri des
intempéries.
- Il est interdit de la stocker en plein
air ou dans des zones où sont
présentes des vapeurs ou des
substances (même faiblement
corrosives) non compatibles avec
les matériaux de construction
de la vanne à guillotine. - Eviter
l'entreposage à des températures
inférieures à -20°C.
ARRET PROLONGÉ DE LA MA-
CHINE APRES LE MONTAGE
- Avant la mise en service mettre la
vanne à guillotine en conditions
de sécurité.
- Avant la mise en service de la
vanne à guillotine, contrôler l'inté-
grité de toutes les parties dont un
arrêt prolongé pourrait compro-
mettre le fonctionnement.
RÉEMPLOI POSSIBLE APRES
UNE PÉRIODE D'INACTIVITÉ
- Pendant l'inactivité de la machine
éviter les environnements hu-
mides et saumâtres.
Placer la vanne à guillotine sur une
plate-forme en bois et l'entreposer
witter-
à l'abri des intempéries .
- Il est interdit de l'entreposer en
plein air ou dans des zones où
sont présentes des vapeurs ou
des substances (même faiblement
corrosives) non compatibles avec
les matériaux de construction de
la vanne à guillotine.
- Avant la mise en service mettre la
vanne à guillotine en conditions
de sécurité.
- Avant la mise en service de la
vanne à guillotine, contrôler l'inté-
grité de toutes les parties dont un
arrêt prolongé pourrait compro-
mettre le fonctionnement.
- Avant la mise en service de la
vanne à guillotine effectuer un
cycle complet de nettoyage en
respectant les indications figurant
sur la fiche de sécurité de la
poudre à traiter.
- Si la vanne à guillotine travaille
dans des conditions et avec des
matières différentes de l'applica-
tion précédente, vérifier la com-
patibilité de cette utilisation suivant
ce qui est indiqué dans la section
MODE D'EMPLOI.
