Troubleshooting
Error Code
Cause
Shows the percentage of
memory currently in use. print or send any
#005
The receiving fax
machine does not
answer.
#012
The other party's fax is
out of paper or its
memory is full.
#022
The one-touch or coded
speed dialing number
has not been registered.
In manual sending, you
entered a speed dialing
number that is assigned
to a group.
The MultiPASS is
warming up.
The paper or toner ran
out, or a paper jam
occurred, so the
MultiPASS received the
document in memory.
The computer was
off and a document
was received in the
memory of the
MultiPASS.
An error has occurred
in the phone line or in
the system.
You pressed
cancel the transmission.
When the MultiPASS
sends or receives a fax,
it assigns it a unique
identification number.
Action
If you need more space,
documents in memory.
Make sure you dialed
the correct number.
Try again later.
Contact the other party
and have them install
paper in their fax.
Register the number
(see page 3-18).
Use regular dialing.
Wait until the date and
Receive Mode appear in
the LCD display, then
begin.
Add paper to the multi-
purpose tray, change the
toner cartridge, or clear
the paper jam. The
MultiPASS automatically
prints the document
stored in memory.
