Canceling Sending

Follow this procedure if you want to stop sending a document before transmission is
completed:
Cancel manual sending as follows:
Stop

Press
• The transmission is canceled.
• The MultiPASS prints an Error TX Report.

Cancel memory sending as follows:
Stop

Press
• The MultiPASS asks you to confirm that you
want to cancel sending.

Tone
• Sending is not canceled until you press T.
• If you change your mind and want to continue
sending, press #.
• To cancel transmission of a document waiting
to be sent from memory (because the unit is
waiting to redial), (1 Canceling Automatic
Redialing, p. 7-10).
• To cancel transmission of a document waiting
to be sent from memory, (1 Deleting a
Document From Memory, p. 7-18).
• The MultiPASS prints an Error TX Report.

When you cancel sending, you may need to open the operation panel to remove the
document from the ADF. (1 p. 13-3)
