OVERVIEW

Pentair Hypro ProStop-E ISOBUS System is an electronic spray
rate controller that provides individual spray nozzle control via
Controller Area Network (CAN bus) messaging with individual
nozzle valves.
The system utilizes ISOBUS-compliant task controllers that
serve as the main interface for viewing the GPS-based field
maps and for controlling sprayer travel. Additionally, the task
controller provides terminal windows to set up and operate the
rate controller.
Pentair Hypro ProStop-E ISOBUS Rate Controller allows users
to set:
Application parameters
Implement speed input
Flowmeter digital input
Pressure transducer input
Flow control via hydraulic pump control (PWM) or
proportional valve control

The rate controller calculates flow based on real-time inputs
of speed, how many valves/sections are on/off and for nozzle
size. Flow rate from the pump to the nozzles is controlled by
either varying the PWM hydraulic flow control valve for pump
speed, or by controlling a proportional valve if the pump speed
is constant.
The rate controller receives actual flow rate from the flowmeter
and adjusts the control output as needed to deliver the desired
rate. This desired rate regulation will occur hundreds of times
a second to maintain the desired rate in a dynamically changing
environment, as the sprayer is driven through the field.
