8.3 Zero Gyros

Zeroing the gyroscope in the Ultium Motion Sensor is generally recommended to keep the sensor data
accurate. It is recommended to zero gyros daily. To do this, follow these steps:

8.4 Charging the Ultium Motion Sensors

Safety precautions for charging the Ultium Motion Sensors: No Precautions required. The Ultium
Motion Sensors are charged using the Ultium Sensor Charger (873).
Step 1
Verify that all the sensors are correctly inserted into
the Ultium Sensor Charger (873).
Step 2
Insert power supply (PSU1) barrel connector into the
jack of the Ultium Receiver. Insert the power supply
(PSU1) into a power strip (recommended) or into
the wall outlet (mains).

1. Place sensors above the ground away from any magnetic
interference. This means they must be away from any computers,
treadmills, or other equipment.

Select Zero Motion Sensors in the bottom right corner in of the
Home screen and follow the instructional wizard.
