FLYWHEEL / IGNITION COIL
1. DISASSEMBLY/REASSEMBLY
1. Remove the recoil starter
2. Remove the fan cover stud (black), the 6 x 20 mm flange bolt, and the ignition coil.
3. Remove the 14 mm special nut and the flywheel
4. Remove the wires from the brake assembly; then remove the brake assembly.

and reassembly to prevent
damaging the flywheel.

REASSEMBLY:
Check for cracked or
damaged insulation;
replace the coil if
necessary.

When installing the flywheel,
check to be sure that the
woodruff key remains in its slot
on the crankshaft.
