3.8.4 Connecting the Chilled Water Inlet and Outlet Pipes

3.8.4.1 Connecting Seamless Steel Pipes

Procedure
Step 1 Open the rear door and remove the air filter.
Step 2 Knock off the knock-out holes for the chilled water inlet and outlet pipes.
● Ensure that pipes and power cables are routed through separate holes.
● Do not prepare extra knock-out holes to avoid performance loss.
● To replace the entire device, it is recommended that an active connector of the
pipe is reserved for connection.
● NetCol5000-C030/C032 need to make the holes for the chilled water inlet and
outlet pipes using a knife.
Step 3 Clean the pipe and remove the thermal insulation foam from the pipe plug.
Step 4 Remove the water pipe plug using an open-end wrench.
Step 5 Apply screw thread sealant evenly on the connecting position of external screw
threads at pipe ends, and install the pipes from inside out.
Step 6 Use a common wrench and pipe wrench to connect and secure water inlet and
outlet pipes.
Step 7 Attach thermal insulation foam to the pipes and ensure that the foam is in close
contact with the pipes.
Step 8 After pipes are connected, seal the gaps between the knock-out holes and the
pipes using sealant or foaming agent.

The other end is a reserved G 3/4 inch connector with inner screw threads. Connect the
other end to a rigid pipe based on site requirements.
A Y-shaped strainer has been installed on the chilled water inlet.
Connect the water inlet and outlet pipes from the inside to the outside and
from the bottom to the top.
Water inlet and outlet pipes are connected using thread connectors.
Chilled water inlet and outlet pipes can be connected in two ways. Select one
based on site requirements.
