6. MAINTENANCE

6.1 SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS

Before cleaning or doing maintenance
work, take out the ignition key and read the relevant instruc-
tions. Wear adequate clothing and work gloves whenever
your hands are at risk.
Never use the machine with worn or
damaged parts. Faulty or worn-out parts must always be re-
placed and not repaired. Only use original spare parts: The
use or non-original and/or incorrectly fitted parts will com-
promise the safety of the machine, may cause accidents or
personal injuries for which the Manufacturer is under no cir-
cumstance liable or responsible.
IMPORTANT
Never get rid of used oil, fuel or other pollu-
tants in unauthorised places!
Any adjustments or maintenance opera-
tions not described in this manual must be carried out by
your Dealer or a specialized Service Centre. Both have the
necessary knowledge and equipment to ensure that the
work is done correctly without affecting the safety of the
machine.
You must go to a specialised Service Centre or contact your
Dealer if the following are malfunctioning:
– the brake;
– the engagement and stop of the blade;
– the drive engagement in forward and in reverse gears.
