SL1000
Description
The multiline terminal user that calls a busy station and receives a call waiting tone can generate a
Tone Override that is heard by the originator and busy station. The busy station user can place the
existing call on hold to answer the Override.
Conditions
• One Tone Override at a time can be received at a multiline terminal.
• Tone Override can be accomplished only after receiving a BUSY tone.
T
• Tone Override originate is allowed from a single line telephone until the PBR times out.
• Virtual Extensions do not support Tone Override.
