ATTENTION! Insufficient output current of the power supply unit can lead to application
malfunctions. Setup of the required output current of the power supply unit is within the sole
responsibility of the operator!
Activate the main switch (if applicable) of the external power supply unit
Activate the main switch at the front of the basic module

The green power LED of the Ethernet switch is flashing

At the safety socket for slot 1 and slot 2, „GND", „+24 V/U
applied

If no extension module is available, the voltage can be checked with a multimeter at
the safety sockets for slot 1 and slot 2
