To erase a group
1 Press GROUP for 2 seconds or more.
2 Follow steps 1 and 2 of the procedure
described under "On the recorder" in
"Selecting and playing desired groups
(Group skip function)" (page 98) to
check the contents of the group you
want to erase. Then press x.
3 Press the jog dial, turn the dial until
"EDIT" flashes in the display, and then
press the dial again.
4 Turn the jog dial until "
flashes in the display, and then press the
jog dial.
The group name and "GP Erase?"
appear and "PushENTER" flashes in the
display.
5 Press the jog dial again.
The group is erased.
To cancel erasing
Press CANCEL.

G-PROTECTION function
The G-PROTECTION function was
developed to provide a higher level of
shock resistance than that of existing
players in order to allow the recorder to be
used while jogging.
Note
The playback sound may skip if:
• the recorder receives stronger continuous
: Erase"
• a dirty or scratched MiniDisc is played.
Setting the alarm (Melody
Timer)

You can set the alarm to go off in 1 to 99
minutes.
