8. We recommend correcting measurements to improve the accuracy of the
measurement results. The purpose of this correction is to eliminate the
unknown capacitances C like stray capacitance or capacitance between
connecting leads or between leads and the electrodes and to correct any
measurement offset in C. If you want to correct the measurement, perform
the air reference measurement(s) as described in 10.4 "Perform air
reference measurements" on page 44.
Note: You can perform the air reference measurements before or after the
material measurements. In both cases you have to enter the air reference
settings as described in 10.4 "Perform air reference measurements" on
page 44.
9. In the Navigation pane, click Material measurement(s), select the
measurement you want to perform, and then enter the measurement
settings (see Table 10-13 "Measurement settings" on page 54).
Note: The measurement settings depend on the test cell type selected in the
test cell settings and on the measurement mode selected in the sweep
settings under Measurement type.
10. In the Navigation pane, click Graph and result table. On the ribbon, the
Measurement(s) tab is selected automatically.
