5. With its top facing upward, position the drive (Figure 22, A) so that its connector end (E) is
facing the back of the carrier (B).
6. Align the holes in the drive to the holes in the drive carrier slide track (C), insert the screws (D)
that you previously removed, and attach the carrier to the drive.
7. Slide the carrier/drive into the chassis with the retention mechanism extended in the open
position, and then push the arm towards the front of the chassis until the lever tab clicks into the
chassis slot indicating that it is closed.
