A causa del peso y del espacio que ocupa el
tren delantero, la operación que sigue a conti-
nuación necesita la intervención de un segun-
do operador. Compruebe en vía preventiva los proce-
dimientos de ejecución.
La operación de extracción tiene que ser ejecutada
con muchísimo cuidado.

Coloque un soporte adecuado por debajo de
la horquilla para que no caiga.
Mientras que un operador mantiene en posición el tren
X
delantero, afloje y quite la tuerca de regulación (11).
Extraiga el tren delantero (12) del manguito de dirección
y guarde según el siguiente orden:
– guardapolvo (13);
– retenes (14);
– cojinetes (15).

Lave todos los componentes con detergente
limpio.

7.7.3 INSTALACION


Para la instalación actúe en orden contrario
con respecto a la operación de desmontaje.
Controle que la alineación entre la placa superior (10)
X
e inferior sea perfecta.
Antes de apretar definitivamente la tuerca de regula-
X
ción (11) y el tornillo superior (8) gire el manillar varias
veces en ambos sentidos para ajustar los cojinetes.
Girando el manillar controle que los cables no queden
X
tensos y que no estén retorcidos y/o superpuestos in-
correctamente.

Due to the weight and dimensions of the fore-
carriage, the following operations cannot be
performed by one person only. Verify the pro-
cedures in advance.
The removal must be carried out with the greatest
care.

Support the fork, in order to avoid any acci-
dental fall.
While one operator keeps the forecarriage in the right
X
position, loosen and remove the metal ring (11).
Withdraw the forecarriage (12) from the steering tube and
take the following parts, in the given order:
– Antidust gasket (13);
– Seals (14);
– Bearings (15).

Wash all the components with a clean deter-
gent.
7.7.2 CHECKING THE BEARINGS
See 7.2.3 (CHECKING; BEARINGS).
7.7.3 REASSEMBLY

For the reassembly, proceed in the reverse or-
der with respect to the disassembly.
Make sure that the upper plate (10) and the lower plate

are perfectly aligned.
Before tightening the adjusting metal ring (11) and the
X
upper nut (8) definitively, turn the handlebars more
than once in both directions, in order to ensure the set-
tling of the bearings.
When turning the handlebars, make sure that cables
X
and pipes are not taut and that they are neither twist-
ed, nor overlapping in an incorrect way.
