Reduced Oi Advisory, formerly called Bin Disable, can now be indicated on
the status LED, 4-20mA output (6mA) or via the AUX relay, if con gured. This
status condition is active when one or more of the sensor returns less than
80% of the Oi test lamp signal. This could potentially be used as a means to
schedule detector cleaning prior to the blocked optics condition worsening
and the detector signaling an Oi Fault. It is suggested that the Reduced Oi
signal be required to sustain for a prescribed amount of time prior to any
action being taken, preventing unneeded optics cleanings due to
precipitation or another temporary optical obstruction.
Signal via Yellow LED: Check box for "Reduced Oi Advisory Output"
(*The Yellow LED accompanies the other signaling methods as a default)
*Signal via Aux Relay: Check box for "Reduced Oi Advisory Output"
and con gure the Aux Relay for "Advisory"
*Signal via 4-20mA: Check boxes for "Reduced Oi Advisory Output"
and "4-20 mA and Pulsed Advisory"
(Enhanced X3301 & X3302 only)
Note: Enabling the Reduced Oi Signal Pulsed Advisory for Pulse Output
detectors is not recommended. Contact the factory for details.
Description
Changes the sensitivity level of the detector.
Box is checked if the alarm relay and its corresponding LED are set for latching.

Box is checked if the fault relay and its corresponding LED are set for latching
Box is checked if the auxiliary relay coil is normally energized.
Box is checked if the quick fire feature is enabled.
Box is checked if the automotive mode feature is enabled.
Box is checked if the user want a mA output change when high IR background is detected.
Box is checked if Hangar Mode is enabled. When enabled the detector will qualify the fire for 7-9 seconds before it outputs a fire alarm.
Box is checked if Low Level Fire Detection (Fire D) is enabled. Only applies to Very High Sensitivity X3301.
Automatic o i tests are performed at 1 to 30 minutes.
Number of consecutive o i failures required to produce an o i fault.
Power setting of the detector's optics heater (percentage of full power).
Internal target temperature that the heater will attempt to maintain (in degrees C).

The Fire B (Flash Fire) Algorithm
can be disabled. Disabling this
algorithm can help reduce false
alarms in some situations but also
can also reduce re detection
capabilities. Temporary res
lasting less than 3 seconds may
not be detected if Fire B is disabled.
The time to alarm to sustained
res may also increase by
3 seconds compared to the FM
performance data.

The AUX relay can be
con gured to signal
Advisories. Primarily
used to signal a
Reduced Oi condition
if con gured.
