Details of System BIOS

You can check and change the parameters using the BIOS Setup utility (SETUP).
2.1

Starting SETUP

Turn on the server and proceed with POST.
Wait until the following message appears at the bottom left of the screen.
Press <F2> SETUP, ... (* a different message may appear depending on the environment)
If you press <F2>, SETUP will start after POST, and the Main menu will appear (if you press <F2> while the
NEC logo is on the screen, the Main menu will be displayed).
2.2

Parameter Descriptions

The SETUP utility has the following six major menus.
● Main menu
● Advanced menu
● Security menu
● Server menu
● Boot menu
● Save & Exit menu
Selecting submenus under the menus above allows you to configure further detailed features.
The following describes available functions and parameters, as well as the factory settings, for each menu.
