2.2.5 Boot

If you move the cursor to Boot, the Boot menu where you can configure the boot order appears.
For details about the options, see the table below.

1. When BIOS detects a bootable device, information on the device is displayed in the designated area.
Parameter
Disabled
When this option is set to Disabled, the results of POST
[Enabled]
execution are displayed instead of the NEC logo after
the power is turned on.
If BIOS Redirection Port is enabled, this option is
shown as Unavailable and inaccessible (the Quiet Boot
feature is always disabled).
On
Enable or disable Numlock.
[Off]
Number
Specify the time until the <F2> is pressed to launch
SETUP.
These items display the priority of boot devices.
If all of the Boot Options are set to Disabled, the SETUP
starts running upon completion of POST.
Specify the boot priority for each BBS.
