Chapter 3 Setup

2.2.3 Security

If you move the cursor to Security, the Security menu appears. For the menu that has
the cursor to it and then press the <Enter> key to show its submenus. Then configure the settings.
Select either Administrator Password or User Password, and then press the <Enter> key to display the
screen where you can register/change the password.
Tips

User Password cannot be set without setting Administrator Password.
Do not set any password before installing OS.
If you have forgotten any password, contact the store where you purchased the
product or your maintenance service company.

Up to 20 alphanumeric When the <Enter> key is pressed, the administrator
characters password entry screen is displayed.
This password can be used to access all SETUP menus.
This setting can only be specified by logging in as
Administrator.
If no password is set, SETUP starts with administrative
right.
Up to 20 alphanumeric When the <Enter> key is pressed, the user password
characters entry screen is displayed. With this password, access to
SETUP menus is limited. This setting can only be
specified by logging in as Administratoror User.
