Mezzanine Card

The CPU blade can contain two mezzanine cards for blade which allows an extension of network or a file
device feature. (B120d only. With B110d, only one mezzanine card can be installed in slot for Type 2.)
With B120d, if themezzanine card for blade is installed in slot for Type 1, CPU #2 must be installed.
To install a mezzanine card, use the mezzanine card slot installed on the CPU blade. The mezzanine card slot
is factory-installed on the CPU blade.

The mezzanine card is extremely sensitive to static electricity. Make sure to
touch the metal frame of the server to discharge static electricity from your
body before handling the mezzanine card. Do not touch the terminals and parts
on the mezzanine card by a bare hand and place the cards directly on the desk.
For static notes, refer to Chapter 2 (1.2 Anti-static Measures).
A combination of boards which can be installed in the Blade Enclosure under
certain restrictions. Contact your sales representative for details.
Some optional mezzanine cards use expansion ROMs on the boards. Refer to the manual
shipped with the board to check whether the expansion ROMs should be required. Use
the BIOS setup utility "SETUP" for the setting. Refer to Chapter 2 (1. Details of System
BIOS) in "Maintenance Guide".
