Image Reset (DSC 401 A Only)

When an image reset is performed, the DSC attempts to size and position the image to fill
the display screen (fill mode) or use the native aspect ratio of the input (follow mode). Only
the horizontal and vertical image positioning and the horizontal and vertical image size are
adjusted by the image reset. All other controls are left unchanged.
Image reset is useful in applications in which a variety of new input sources may be
encountered (such as when a matrix switcher is connected). It is also useful for centering
and sizing an image that has been adjusted out of default settings.
You can perform a one-time image reset by the following methods:
IP Address — (DSC 401 A only) Sets the IP address for the unit. The default address is
192.168.254.254.
Subnet Mask — (DSC 401 A only) Sets the subnet mask for the unit. The default
subnet mask is 255.255.255.0.
Gateway — (DSC 401 A only) Sets the gateway address for the unit. The default
gateway address is 0.0.0.0.
USB Config IP — This view-only field displays the IP address (203.0.113.22) that is
automatically assigned to the DSC 401 and 401 A. This address is used for IP over USB
connections and can also be used for software such as PCS and Toolbelt.
