WHEELS & TIRES
Both the standard extension and
coded socket tools* are stowed
in the rear luggage compartment
within the vehicle tool kit and
should remain with the car at all
times to ensure that servicing may
be performed.
The key code should be recorded
and kept safely with the vehicle
documents, in case a replacement
socket tool needs to be ordered.
*If not already fitted, a locking
wheel bolt kit can be purchased
from your authorized Lotus deal-
ership.

VEHICLE LIFTING USING
A TROLLEY JACK
Lifting point 'B'

Vehicle Lifting

- Position a suitable jack at the
rear lifting point identified by a
blue sticker (Shown as location
'B') on page 117 'Vehicle Lift-
ing'. (Note this will raise both
wheels on that side of the vehi-
cle). Adhere to any instructions,
safety information or warnings
provided with the jack.
- Extend the jack and raise the
vehicle off of the ground.
- Remove the bolts and remove
the wheel.
WARNING
Using a lifting jack can be dan-
gerous. If the car falls off the jack,
you or others could be seriously
injured or killed. NEVER get un-
der a car when it is supported
only by a jack.
Use only those lifting points

identified. Lifting on any part of
the body, or with a jack improp-
erly positioned, may damage the
chassis or body structure and/or
jeopardise safety.

Wheel Fitment

- Position the wheel on the hub.
- Screw in at least 2 of the vehicles
wheel bolts at opposite points to
retain the wheel in position onto
the hub assembly.
- Screw in the remaining 3 wheel
bolts.
- Tighten all 5 wheel bolts in a
crosswise pattern using the
standard extension and coded
wheel bolt adaptor.
