Remove the nuts and clamp from the appropriate muffler clamp for the machine's configuration.

Install the muffler clamp on the axle.

Single steering cylinder models - Install the 1-1/2" muffler clamp U-bolt (P/N 435-3003-030) on the left

side between the tie rod and cylinder rod with the legs of the U-bolt pointing to the rear of the machine.
Replace the clamp and nuts.
Dual steering cylinder models - Install the 1-3/4" muffler clamp U-bolt (P/N 435-3003-052) on the left

side of the tie rod with the legs of the U-bolt pointing to the rear of the machine. Replace the clamp and
nuts.
Note:
Do not tighten the nuts to allow for adjustment later in the procedure.
