Record Mode Setup

Intellex
The Record Mode screen lets you configure how the unit records
images during regular (nonalarm) operation. You must possess the
Setup Record privilege to access it (see
1.
From the main screen, click the Setup button. The Setup
Options screen appears (see
2.
Click the Record Mode button. The Record Mode screen
appears. Select Linear or Circular record mode.
Linear — In linear mode, the unit records from the beginning to
the end of the image database. When the database is full, the unit
stops recording and displays an option screen. The operator must
choose one of the following options:
Perform a backup immediately.
Postpone archiving and recording until later.
Continue recording images at the beginning of the database,
which overwrites older images.
After clearing the option screen, the operator must select Begin
Record on the Utility Options screen to restart unit recording. (See
Linear Mode Operation
more information.)
Notify when ____% full — In linear mode, the unit notifies the
operator when the image database reaches a certain level (50% to
100%). The default is 75%.
NOTE: This option is disabled unless Linear is selected.
Move the slide control to the left to decrease the percentage in
increments of five. Select a low percentage to display the
warning message when the database has a lot of available
space.
Move the slide control to the right to increase the percentage
in increments of five. Select a high percentage to display the
warning message when the database has less available space.
