TARTING UP THE SYSTEM
Power-up the system and wait for the BIOS to show the BIOS activity on the screen. The BIOS diagnoses
the system and displays the size of the memory being tested. Note: you may can not bypass the memory
test depending on the BIOS producer.
CMOS-SETUP
If the CMOS configuration is incorrect, the BIOS tells you to enter the setup screen by pressing a key. Select
the correct options with the arrow keys and save them.

Diagnostics

A. If the display works:
1. Check if you have a bootable floppy or harddisk
2. Check the CMOS parameter with the setup tools
3. Reset the CMOS RAM with the reset jumper
4. Re-enter the correct values with Setup
B. If no display on the screen is available:
1. Check the power circuitry
2. Check the polarities of the cables
3. Measure the voltage of the power supply under load and offload
4. Measure the current between the supply and the MICROSPACE PC
5. Connect a floppy: does the bezel LED light blink?
6. Does the harddisk spindle motor start?
7. Reset the CMOS-RAM
C. If the error appears again
1. Contact your nearest DIGITAL-LOGIC distributor for Technical Support.
2. Or fill out the support request form (SRF) on the Internet:
