2.2.2.4 Joint Power Mode

If the UPS works properly and the AC input power of the rectifiers is insufficient,
the UPS transfers to joint power mode. In this case, the power module obtains
energy from both the mains and batteries, and the energy is converted into AC
outputs over the inverter.
