500 Hour
Location Task
TRACTOR Change engine oil and filter
Change fuel filters
Change hydraulic fluid and filter
Test coolant freeze protection level
TRENCHER Adjust headshaft bearings
PLOW Change plow vibrator oil
Tractor
Change Engine Oil and Filter
Change engine oil and filter every 500 hours ONLY
if using motor oil meeting Deutz specifications
DQCIII-LA. See page 155 for more information
about DEO specifications.
To change:
1. While oil is warm, remove drain plug (3). Drain
oil and replace plug.
2. Remove filter (1) and replace with new filter
each time oil is changed. Add DEO at fill neck
(2).
Change Fuel Filters
Change fuel filters (shown) every 500 hours.
Notes
ONLY if using motor oil
meeting Deutz specifications
DQCIII-LA (Tier 4i) or DQCIII
(Tier 3).
