Cause

The adjustment or sensor
is faulty

The cover electrode of the
sensor is damaged; this
may soon cause the sensor
to break
Remedying of fault
Remove the probe from
the process and take any
necessary measures to
lower the process
temperature
Take measures to reduce
process humidity
Check adjustment (via
P2A adjustment history,
perform 2-point
adjustment where
necessary)
If the problem persists,

Carry out visual
inspection
If the mirror-like surface of
the sensor is dirty or
damaged, contact Testo
Service
