7 Maintenance and
service

7.1 Cleaning

Clean the body, display cover and chassis regularly.
The best way to clean the body is with a damp
sponge or cloth. The underside of the body, wheels
and blade disc are best cleaned with a brush (for
example, a washing-up brush). A spray bottle with
water and a small amount of washing-up liquid can
help to remove dried dirt and grass. Disassemble the
body to clean the body, display cover and chassis
more meticulously.
NOTE!
Never use a high pressure washer or even
running water.
The main switch should be in the O position. Wear
gloves when cleaning the underside of the body.

It is important to clean off any grass and dirt between
the chassis and the blade disc as well as between
the blade disc and the blades. Disassemble the blade
disc to enable more thorough cleaning. Run the
blade motor using the test function Motors (5-3-1).
Listen for abnormal sounds when the blade motor is
running. Also test with various cutting height settings.

7.2 Winter storage

Before the robotic lawnmower is put away for the
winter, the following should be done:
• Clean the entire mower thoroughly.
• Remove the blade disc and clean around
the blades so that they can be freely
rotated and also around the motor shaft.
• Disassemble the drive wheels and
remove grass and other objects from the
motor shafts. Clean the wheels' drive
tread. Assemble the wheels again.
• Put the main switch in position 0.
• Fully charge the mower. However, the
mower must not be left in the charging
station during the entire winter storage
period.
The robotic lawnmower must be stored, preferably
in its original packaging, in a dry area, standing on
all wheels.
The mower and the transformer should be stored
inside during the winter. If the transformer is put
in a mains socket indoors and connected to the
charging station, the charging station can be left
outdoors. Otherwise, the charging station must be
stored indoors.
If the charging station is stored indoors it is
important to remember to protect the ends of the
boundary wire from moisture by placing them, for
example, in a tin with anhydrous grease.
