Maintenance schedule

WARNING! No service procedures must be conducted on the engine or cutting unit unless:
!
The engine is switched off.
The parking brake is applied.
The ignition key is removed.
The cutting unit is disengaged.
The following is a list of the maintenance which should be conducted on the machine. For those points not described in this manual,
visit an authorised service workshop.
Maintenance
Check the safety system
Check for fuel and oil leakage.
Check the engine's oil level
Check coolant level and antifreeze.
Checking the transmission oil level
Check and clean the engine's cooling air intake, clean the radiator.
Cleaning
Start engine and blades, listen for noise
Check nuts and screws
Clean underside of cutting unit
Lubricate throttle cable
Grease the blade shafts
Check air filter
Check the tyre pressures.
Lubricate according to lubrication schedule, see under heading
"LUBRICATION"
Clean thoroughly around engine
Clean thoroughly around transmission
Clean the air filter and empty the particle collector
Checking the blades
Replace the fuel filter.
Change engine oil and filter
Check the synchronisation between the front and rear wheels.
Change hydraulic oil and hydraulic filter
Check oil level in the bevel gear, top up if necessary.
Check belt tension and condition (alternator belt, PTO belt, cutting
unit belt)
Check the battery condition, clean as necessary.
Clean transmission air intake
Check the wheel nuts.
Check the parking brake

Replace the air filter

Change belts (PTO belt and cutting unit belt).
Change the oil in the bevel gear.
Change pump and alternator belt
Change coolant (50% glycol).
Service at an authorised service representative.

First change after 25 hours. When operating with a heavy load or at high ambient temperatures, replace every 50 hours.
Maintenance and replacement are required more often in dusty conditions.

IMPORTANT! When the machine is in operation the hoses are under high pressure. Do not try to connect or disconnect the hoses
when the hydraulic system is operational. This can result in serious personal injuries.
