Disconnect the cable for the microswitch
from the MMI circuit board. Always pull the
connector and NOT the cable.
6.
Disassemble the securing plate from the
microswitch. Note that the flat surface of
the securing plate should rest against the
top part of the microswitch, so that it is
reassembled correctly later.
7.
Remove the microswitch.
8.
Fit the new microswitch and secure it with the
securing plate. Note that the flat surface should
rest against the microswitch's upper part.
9.
Connect the cable for the microswitch on the
MMI circuit board and place the cable duct
in the groove on the display cover. Secure
the cable using a cable tie on the clip on the
display cover.
10. Install the stop button. Place the lug in the
stop button on the spring and move it forwards
until the lug is located outside the top part of
the spring. Then press the stop button straight
down and secure it. See illustration below.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
To avoid damaging the microswitch it is
important that the lug in the stop button
is located between the spring and the
microswitch. If the lug is positioned too
far forward the securing plate on the
microswitch can be damaged when the
stop button is pressed down. The stop
button is secured automatically in the two
hooks when the correct position is reached.
