6. TROUBLESHOOTING
Cause
The guide wire is incorrectly
positioned in the charging
station.
The boundary wire is disturbing
the guide signal in the charging
station.
Dirt/leaves/grass have
accumulated in the charging
station and are preventing
the mower's charging strip
from making contact with the
charging station's charging strip.
The cables for the charging
strips in the mower are not
connected or connected
incorrectly.
The cables for the contact strips
in the charging station are not
connected or are connected
incorrectly.
The lawnmower cannot detect
the F field and therefore does
not turn in front of the charging
station.
Cause
Impaired battery capacity.
Action
Check that the guide wire is placed correctly
in its groove on the underside of the charging
station.
Check that the boundary wire is located entirely
behind the charging station 2 metres to the
right of the charging station (facing the charging
station). See the installation instructions in
the Operator's Manual. If the boundary wire is
positioned along the left side of the charging
station it can affect the guide signal
Clean the charging station.
Check that the cable lugs for the charging strips
are intact and properly connected. Ensure the
correct cable is connected to the right charging
strip. Remember that plus and minus must be
correctly connected. See "5.8 Replacing the
battery" on page 58.
Make sure the cable lugs for the contact strips
are intact and properly connected. Ensure the
correct cable is connected to the right charging
strip. Remember that plus and minus must
be correctly connected. See "5.7 Replacing
charging strips" on page 58.
Check LED signals on the charging station. See
"6.4 Troubleshooting loop signal" on page 83.
Action
Perform a battery test to determine the battery's
capacity. See "6.6 Battery test" on page 87.
