It is preferable to staple down the boundary wire if you want to make adjustments to the boundary loop during the first few weeks of operation.

This will prevent the robotic lawnmower from colliding with the obstacle and reduce body wear.

Lay the wire up to and around the area to be demarcated, and then return it back along the same route.
