4. AUTOCHECK EXP SERVICE PROGRAM

4 Autocheck EXP
service program
The Autocheck EXP service program is a tool to use
in connection with service of robotic lawnmowers
from the Husqvarna Group. Its uses include:
• Updating software in the robotic lawnmower
• Troubleshooting the robotic lawnmower
• Reading information from the robotic
lawnmower
• Setting the robotic lawnmower
• Reading documents applicable to the robotic
lawnmower
Autocheck EXP is intended for robotic lawnmowers
from and including the 2003 model. The program
does not work on earlier models.
The robotic lawnmower is connected to the computer
using a service cable. There are 2 different cables.
• USB cable with service connector of a
standard USB type for Husqvarna G3
models (e.g. Automower
GARDENA R40Li, R70Li).
• USB cable with a special type of service
connector for Husqvarna Automower
models (e.g. 220AC, 230 ACX, Solar Hybrid
and 265 ACX.

4.1 Installation and login

Autocheck EXP can only be installed on PC
computers. The program has been developed and
tested for the following operating systems: Windows
XP, Windows Vista (32 and 64 bits), Windows 7
(32 and 64 bits). Compatibility with other operating
systems cannot be guaranteed.
The program uses a screen resolution of 1024x768.
When using screens with lower resolution full
functionality is not guaranteed.
4.1.1 Installing Autocheck EXP
1. Exit all open programs on your computer.
2. Insert the DVD with the service program into
the computer's reader.
The installation program normally starts
automatically. If not, go to My Computer and
open it manually.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions.

4. When the installation has finished an
Autocheck EXP menu will be created in the
Start menu on your computer. A shortcut
is also automatically created on the
computer's desktop.
4.1.2 Log in to Autocheck EXP
1. Start the program by double clicking on the
program icon on the desktop.
2. Enter your username and password in the
login box that now appears.
3. Select your country.
4. Log in.
Note! The first time you log in after installing
Autocheck EXP requires Internet connection.
It is recommended that Autocheck EXP has access
to the Internet as frequently as possible to ensure
that you always have the latest updates with
regard to mower software, service documents etc.
It is possible to work with Autocheck EXP without
connecting to the internet for a limited period.
