6. TROUBLESHOOTING
The wheel motor is defective
The main circuit board is
defective
The cabling to the wheel
motor is damaged
Grass or other object has
wrapped itself around the
drive wheel.
Grass or other object may
have become wrapped
around the blade disc.
The blade disc is lying in a
pool of water.
The blade motor is defective.
The main circuit board is
defective.
The cabling to the blade
motor is damaged or
defective.
Boundary wire broken.
The transformer is not
connected.
The connection between the
robotic lawnmower and the
charging station has been
broken.
The boundary wire is laid in
the wrong direction around
an island.
Disturbances from
metal objects (fences,
reinforcement steel) or
buried cables close by.
Check the wheel motors' function
when idling. See "Motors (5-3-1)" on
page 25.
Replace the main circuit board. See
"5.9 Replacing the main circuit board"
on page 59.
Check whether the damage is
repairable. Otherwise replace the
wheel motor.
Check the drive wheel and remove
the grass or other object.
Check the blade disc and remove the
grass or other object.
Move the mower and rectify the
cause of water collecting in the
working area.
Check that the blade motor has
the right rotation speed. See
"Motors (5-3-1)" on page 25.
Replace the main circuit board. See
"5.9 Replacing the main circuit board"
on page 59.
Check whether the damage is
repairable. Otherwise change the
blade motor.
Check the signal given by the LED on
the charging station. See "6.5 Finding
a break in the boundary wire" on
page 85.
Check the mains socket connection
and whether the earth-fault breaker
has tripped. Check that the low
voltage cable is connected to the
charging station.
Park the robotic lawnmower in the
charging station and generate a new
loop signal using the New loop signal
function.
Check that the boundary wire
has been laid according to the
instructions in chapter "3.2.1 Laying
the boundary wire" on page 28.
Try moving the boundary wire and/
or creating additional islands in the
working area.
