5.3.6 Restoring Default Settings
RISK OF LOSING DATA
When restoring default settings, there is a risk of losing programming, motor data, localization, and monitoring records.
-
Provide a back-up by uploading data to the LCP before initialization.
Restoring the default parameter settings is done by initialization of the drive. Initialization is carried out via parameter 14-22 Opera-
tion Mode (recommended) or manually.
•
Initialization via parameter 14-22 Operation Mode does not reset the drive settings such as hours run, serial communication se-
lections, personal menu settings, fault log, alarm log, and other monitoring functions.
•
Manual initialization erases all motor programming, localization, and monitoring data, and restores factory default settings.
5.3.6.1 Recommended Initialization
Procedure
1.
Press [Main Menu] twice to access parameter.
2.
Scroll to parameter 14-22 Operation Mode and press [OK].

•
Parameter 15-05 Over Volt's.
5.4 Basic Operational Programming
Drives require basic operational programming before running for best performance. Basic operational programming requires enter-
ing motor nameplate data for the motor being operated and the minimum and maximum motor speeds. Enter the data in accord-
ance with the following procedure. See
with power ON, but before operating the drive.
1.
Press [Quick Menu] on the LCP.
2.
Use the navigation keys to scroll to parameter group Q2 Quick Setup and press [OK].
