2.3 Rear Panel Connectors and Identification
Wire Preparation
DO NOT tin with solder any bare wires connected to rear-panel terminals.
2.3.1

Power Inlet

To cover all of the possible inlet power conditions, Arbiter Systems offers two different power
supplies: a low-range DC only and a high-range AC/DC supply. Please examine the paperwork
you received with the Model 1133A, to make sure you have correctly identified the inlet power
supply. Supply types are listed below:
Option 03 inlet supply includes terminals with an inlet range of 86 to 264 Vac, 50 to 60 Hz and
110 to 350 Vdc and terminal power strip with surge withstand protect circuitry (illustrated in
Figure 2.3)

Option 04 inlet supply includes an inlet range of 10 to 60 V DC ONLY and terminal power strip
with surge withstand protect circuitry (illustrated in Figure 2.4)

2.3.2

Antenna or IRIG-B Input

A threaded Type-F, GNSS antenna input connector is located on the left of the power inlet
connector and it supplies 5 volts to energize the antenna. For models with the Option 07, IRIG-B
decoder, a BNC female connector replaces the Type-F connector.
