Check if the original document
is placed askew.
Check if the scanner height
position is distorted or shifted.
Check the location where the
scanner carriage is attached.

feed roller is dirty.
Check if the DP registration
roller is dirty and its rotation.

If the original document is placed askew,
place it correctly.
If the scanner height position is distorted or
shifted, adjust the entire scanner unit height.
If the scanner carriage is out of position, reat-
tach it.
If the original document has folds or creases,
straighten it.
If the original document is skew fed, set the
original document side registration guide
again.
If the scanner carriage is out of position, reat-
tach it.
Clean the original document feed roller if it is
dirty. Replace it if it is not improved after clean-
ing it.
Clean the DP registration roller. If the rotation
is not smooth, clean the busing and reattach it.
Align the cursor to fit the original document, if
necessary.
