According to the current configuration of the Confirm Program parameter (page 57) a Song (or Program within a
Song) can be recalled immediately, or only after the data entry dial is pressed. In the latter case, the Program
location blinks until the dial is pressed.
NB
Please note that Songs do not contain copies of Programs and/or their data. This means that when a Program is
modified and saved, all the Songs that contain the said Program will then use the new, modified version of that
Program.

Saving a Song

Changes made to Songs are temporary and will be deleted when a different Song is selected or the instrument
is switched off. To avoid that, Songs must be made permanent by saving them. When saving a Song, you can
give it a name and store it in its current location or select a different location (number) so as not to overwrite the
previous version of that Song.
To save a song, follow this procedure:
1.
Make sure that the the Program mode is NOT selected; if it is,
press the [SONG MODE]/[SYSTEM] button.

Press the [EDIT]/[STORE] button for a short while. This will recall
the STORE function. The button Led light will start blinking; the
following page will appear on screen:

Press the data entry dial or the [EDIT]/[STORE] button to confirm
the Song name, or write a new name. Press the [
to move the cursor (highlighted character) and turn the dial to
select a character. The bottom part of the display shows the
available characters to write the Song name.
Hold down [EXIT] and press [

Once the Song name has been composed, press the data entry
dial or the [EDIT]/[STORE] button to continue, or [EXIT] to cancel.

Press the data entry dial or the [EDIT]/[STORE] button to overwrite
the current Song location, or select a new location with the dial.

selecting the location, the display shows the name of the Song
currently saved on that location.
When you have selected the location, press the data entry dial or the [EDIT]/[STORE] button to confirm, or
[EXIT] to abort.
NB
When you overwrite a Song, be it on the current location or to a different location, the data of that Song will be
inevitably lost. To prevent that, al the current settings can be saved to an external USB drive and recalled when
necessary. For further information on the subject, read about the Backup All function at page 59.
Furthermore, the instrument's factory settings can be recalled at any time. For further information on the subject, read
about the Factory Reset function, page 60.
