Towing vehicle (front)

The vehicle is not suitable for towing other ve-
hicles.

Towed vehicle (behind)

Make sure the ignition is switched on so that
the steering wheel does not lock and so that,
if necessary, you can use the turn signals and
the windscreen wiper.
The electromechanical brake servo and the
power steering only work when the vehicle's
drive system is connected. Otherwise you will
have to step on the brake pedal with much
more force and you will also need more
strength to turn the steering wheel.
Release the handbrake.
Make sure the tow cable is always taut.
Set the selector lever to the N position.
In emergency situations, the vehicle can be
towed or pushed on its own wheels, but only
at pedestrian speed and for a maximum of
