7. Temporarily install the QUANTUM® onto Mounting Plate
by using the 2 bolts provided. Screw them through the
QUANTUM® Base and Mounting Plate at opposite ends of
the QUANTUM® (B).
The QUANTUM® will tilt forward because of its weight.
Do NOT let it fall forward instead place it gently in the
forward position (B).
8. Remove the 4 screws and Electrical Panel Cover from the
back of the QUANTUM® (C).
9. Connect the Power Source Harness to connector 1 (12 PWR)
on the Electrical Panel (D).
Before proceeding to Step 10, look at Step 11
because Step 11 needs to be completed within
30 seconds after Step 10 is completed.
10. With Ignition 'ON' and Parking Brake 'OFF' , remove Manual
Release Cover by inserting the QUANTUM® Key (or a
quarter) into the slit and turning it clockwise (to the right),
cover pops out (E). This will initiate the Service Mode on
the QUANTUM® Securement System.

WARNING: While in maintenance and service
mode, ALL safety features are temporarily disable,
therefore keep hands, feet and all body parts away
from moving components when QUANTUM® is
activated.
