WARRANTY ....................19 Read All Instructions Prior to Installation • This manual is a comprehensive step-by-step instruction guide on how to install the QLK-110 Wheelchair Docking Station and components into vehicles’ floors. • Make sure to read, understand and follow all these instructions.
• Do not operate the vehicle if the warning buzzer is beeping, or the amber light is lit up or flashing on the Dash Control Panel. • The QLK-110 Wheelchair Docking Station should not be operated by anyone who does not have full comprehension of how the station works or if the station is not working properly.

7. Mark the location of the QLK-110 Docking Station with the wheelchair occupant present (J). If replacing an existing Q’Straint® QLK Docking Station, use the same holes in the vehicle and the new (supplied) Q’Straint® Hardware (Grade 8). 8. 27. With the Vehicle ON, manually push in the Locking Pawl with a screwdriver to lock the Docking Station and the Green Light on Dash Control Panel illuminates (steady audio beep stops if it was not muted) (W). Wheelchair is secure and ready for transport.
ROUTING WIRES Before installation, inspect the underside of vehicle floor, note utilities, frames, cross-members, fuel tanks and other possible obstructions. Make sure there are no open electrical connections. 33. Route all wiring and cables so that they do not interfere with the normal operation of both the wheelchair and vehicle (wheelchair castors, gas and brake pedals, etc.).

When vehicle is turned off, make sure the Locking Pawl REMAINS open on the Docking Station so that all lights on the Dash Control Panel are off.
