    • If no lights illuminate on the Dash Control Panel when the ignition is turned on, DO NOT use the QLK-110 Wheelchair Docking Station. • A Stabilizer MUST be used with the QLK-110 Wheelchair Docking Station if this station is being used for a driver application and recommended for all other applications.

    OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS SECURING WHEELCHAIR Driver Application 1. With Vehicle OFF, the wheelchair occupant enters the vehicle and centers the wheelchair in forward facing position Dash Control Panel over the Docking Station (A). If the Locking Pawl is locked, press the Release Button on the Dash Control Panel or Auxiliary Release Switch (A) the Locking Pawl unlocks, the Buzzer and all LED Other Applications...
  • Page 9 SECURING PASSENGER 3. Place lap belt over occupant’s hips and buckle (E). 4. Place shoulder belt across occupant’s chest and attach it to lap belt connector (F). Shoulder and Lap Belt must go across occupant’s shoulder and hip, and not be held away from the occupant’s body by wheelchair components.

    TEST DOCKING STATION Dash Panel and Auxiliary Release Switch Are Disabled Auxiliary Release TEST Vehicle ON, wheelchair Docking Station—with secured inside Locking Pawl, Buzzer off, solid Green Docking Bolt Light and LED Button Back Lights illuminated—press Release Button on Dash Control Panel and Auxiliary Solid Green Light On Release Switch, both should work (J).
  • Page 11 RELEASING WHEELCHAIR With Vehicle OFF, Unlock wheelchair brakes (power on electric chair) (M). With Vehicle OFF, press the Release Button on Dash Control Panel or the Auxiliary Release Switch—the Locking Pawl unlocks, wheelchair is released and all LED lights are off on the Dash Control Panel (N). Immediately move wheelchair back to disengage the Docking Station.

    MAINTENANCE CHECKLIST The following items should be inspected and serviced by an experienced and trained technician during the scheduled maintenance of the QLK-110 Wheelchair Docking Station. Clean all debris from under the base unit. Clean the latch mechanism with WD-40 then lubricate with light oil such as 3 in1.
