7.4 Maintenance tasks
7.4.1 Replacing the control unit battery
Note: The data for the coupled radio receivers is retained
when the battery is replaced.
• Make sure there is no backwater
• If necessary, move the emergency closure lever <4>
to the open position
• Move the one-handed closure <3> to the opened
position (top)*
• Remove the control unit <1>, for this purpose undo
the screws <2> and lift the control unit up and out of
the lockable cover <3>.
• Insert a flat screwdriver under the levering point at the
side (=dismantling aid) and lever open carefully. Make
sure that the sealing gasket left in the lockable cover
remains undamaged.
• Replace the battery
• Install the control unit <1> again and carry out a
functional check (see 5.3)
• Close the one-handed closure <3>*
* Drain bodies from DN 150 have two one-handed closures.
