Place the lockable cover <1> onto a vessel
filled with water <2> in such a way that the test
hose <3> projects at least 6 cm into the water
If this triggers a backwater alarm (see 6.2) the
function has been tested successfully
Make sure that the backwater alarm is switched
off by lifting the lockable cover (until the hose is
no longer in the water)
Checking by pressing the alarm key – resulting in a test of the wireless connection. The control
unit sends an optical + acoustic signal, the radio receiver switches.
If the devices are coupled (see chapter 5.2), the control unit transmits radio signals to all the radio
receivers coupled.
• Make sure that every radio receiver coupled fulfils its designated function in the event of a
backwater alarm (refer to 5.2), audible alarm unit switches on/off in intervals in the event of an
alarm, the switched socket switches off ).
• Install the lockable cover again, proceeding as described in Ill. [25] on page 58
