4.3.1 Installation of the extension section / upper section
Only install as many extension sections as
are necessary for the backwater valve to be
reached for maintenance purposes. Maximum
installation depth 65 cm
Illustration shows the installation of the upper
section with cover <5> with an optional extension
section <1>. During installation please heed the
following:
– Check the sealing gaskets <2> and <4>
for a correct fit and grease the sealing lips*
– Insert the upper section <5> or extension
section <1> and align.
Refer also to the installation instructions
for the extension section, mat. no. 016-033
• The upper section with cover serves as a temporary
protective cover at the same time
For this, fit the cover as described in 5.5.
* Do not use a mineral lubricant.
